A home to go
live our challenging life stories resiliently
Verily, we are ever toiling on towards our RABB, painfully toiling, but we shall meet Him, and we progress from stage to stage. Whatever the circumtances, let ALLAH Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala, The Exalted be our Best Companion.
Is there any home to go?
This heart, this mind, this soul wonders, is there any home to go? Yes, there is. There will always be a home to go. If you find no place where you truly belong, remember this: there is a Home, the most Beautiful Home, waiting for you. It may feel distant, so far away, but you can always reach it, for The Owner will open the way when your heart admits the longing inside it.
That Beautiful Home, a Home of Peace and Tranquility, where you can find serenity, where you can find what your heart has been searching for, its location may be distant, and reaching it may seem so difficult, but it will become so close and so easy once your heart is invited by The Owner to visit. And you can directly ask The Owner, wherever you are, to take you there, whether you are poor, with nothing and no one left in your life but an empty space in your heart... or whether you are wealthy, possessing everything but still feeling a void in your heart that remains unfilled... or you are someone at peace, regardless of circumstances, always longing to meet the Owner. Whoever you are, believe this: there's a Home to go to, a place to release your weariness, to breathe in tranquility, to lift all burdens from your shoulder and back, to fill the emptiness in your heart, to ask for help, to find shelter, and to know that He will always be there for you, will always love you in a way that no one else can do it but Him, and He will never leave you alone. Go to the Home of Our Creator in the Holy Lands. There are Three of His Homes you can find: in Masjidil Haram in Mecca, in Masjid An-Nabawi in Medina, and in Masjid Al-Aqsa in Palestine. Never think that His Home is only for certain people. No. Whoever needs their RABB, The Most Loving and Caring Master, ALLAH Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala, go there.
If His Homes (The Holy Lands) feels too far, whether in terms of location, financial means, or your busyness, go to His Home that is close to you. Every Masjid where the name of ALLAH is mentioned is His Home. I understand, sometimes, it's challenging to find a Masjid where His Names and His Religion are truly spoken with grace, peace, and serenity. I know that, in some cases (though rare, mostly during Friday Prayers, but only in particular region), visiting Masjid might even leave you feeling more confused, especially when the preacher tell you about Islam with anger, filled with Hell and warnings, negativity, blame, as if the listeners has no goodness in them, including you that makes you wonder why the preacher seems so upset or makes you feel more terible. It's challenging, but if you experience it, just assume that it's not anger; and believe that you are a good person and yes you are, you try to be a good person, and assume that he just wants to make sure you don't fall asleep..😁
Because regardless of whether the sermon calms you, if you are a man, you still must attend Friday prayers at the Masjid, right? :D
If you ever find that experience, think positively that apparent anger is likely there to ensure you stay awake during prayer at His Home, because ya, you really shouldn't sleep during Friday prayers. I understand, His Home is always so peaceful, and anyone who steps inside will experience its tranquility. Sometimes, the serenity is so overwhelming that it makes you want to sleep while listening Khutbah. Maybe a litle bit anger will make you stay awake.. :D
Whatever has happened in the past that made you feel uncomfortable at a Masjid, go find another Masjid. The atmosphere of a true Masjid is always full of peace, and it's true, even sitting on its porch can bring a profound sense of calm to your heart. Go find His Home, wheter you women or men. And when you are in His Home, pray that He, Our Creator, Our Nurturing Master, The Most Loving and Caring Master, ALLAH Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala, may bring tranquility to your heart, forgive and pardon you, and shower you with even more love and care. So that every Friday, every day, every Five Times, or any time you long to visit His Home to seek refuge in Him through Sujud, you may have the courage to step forward and truly come to His Home, Insya ALLAH. Trust Him, nothing that ALLAH allows or decrees comes without an abundance of goodness within it. Islam means peace. Go find your peace in His Home.
Go find His Home ya. Whether you live in a village or a city, a metropolitan area or the suburbs, even in a remote place, you will always be able to find a Masjid that brings tranquility. And no matter who delivers the sermon, whether it's the Friday Khutbah, the Ramadan Khutbah, the Eid Khutbah, or the daily Islamic study session, you will, Insya ALLAH, often find the speaker inviting you to remember our Creator in a way that soothes the soul. I once encountered, in a small village far from the capital, in the central part of this country, a Masjid where the Friday Khutbah was so calming to the heart. Everything about it was so beautiful. Its architecture, the view, the Adhan, the Sholawat, so incredibly beautiful. A small Masjid, very simple but elegant architecture, located in the heart of a tourist spot, by the beach. One of the national tourist beaches, too. I had never seen a Masjid where even the food vendors in the vicinity, most of whom were young people, all simultaneously locked up their carts, turned off their portable stoves, and rushed to leave their goods behind to perform the Friday prayer in that Masjid. I felt that even the surrounding beach, the waves, the sky, the fishing boats, and the lush trees around it were mesmerized by the tranquility of that Masjid. So beautiful, so peaceful. I remember the preacher's words, that our faith, our belief in our RABB, is the greatest sustenance, the greatest Rizq (provision) in our lives. May ALLAH Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala bless his life, his community, and everyone who enters it..🤲🤲🌹
Your sajadah can also be your home. If you choose to pray in the comfort of your room, then do so. Whatever path brings you closer to your RABB, strive for it. He will always help you and wait for your supplication.
Another home to go is your heart. A heart that remembers ALLAH Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala, a heart that chooses to trust in Him through whatever circumstances He sharpens and tempers us with, is a heart that becomes the home we seek. That heart can be the most beautiful home we ever possess if it is content and open with whatever comes its way, if it is invited to keep trusting in Him, to not turn away from Him, to not forsake Him in times of hardship or overwhelming trials, to not turn away from Him when faced with challenges that seem beyond reason or capacity to bear, and to never lose hope in His Love and Care. Our hearts are the homes we seek. The hearts that remain grateful in times of joy, hearts that strive to do good during times of ease and hardship, hearts that continue to try no matter how simple the effort, hearts that rise to make the effort, hearts full of grit, hearts that persevere, hearts full of patience, hearts that are steadfast, hearts that are determined, hearts that are resilient, hearts that grow stronger the heavier the pressure on them, hearts that care, hearts that empathize, hearts that are honest, hearts that humble themselves before their RABB, may these become the most beautiful homes we have ever known in life, and when our time in this world has ended..🤲🤲🌹
Your grave is your home, a true home. Every soul will taste death. Our graves, it can become a home to go, another most beautiful home to go. But, this final home, the one that will be our dwelling place, will be beautiful or feel like hell, depending on how we lived our lives. May every sorrow we face in this life reverse into joy, and may the hearts that endure the darkest pain find their way to radiant peace and boundless happiness in our final home..🤲🤲🌹
